The beauty of integrability in a cold world
Quantum integrable models for exact quantities computation in cold atom systems.
After a simple introduction to the fascinating dynamics of classical and quantum integrable models, we show how it is possible to compute exact quantities in cold atom systems (i.e. a cold atoms cloud confined in a magneto-optical trap is shown in figure) by using integrability.
With the exact methods provided by quantum integrable theories we enlighten the importance of local correlators in the one-dimensional Lieb-Liniger model and we present the ideas which lead to their exact computation both at zero and at a finite temperature.
